Lighting:
The model has front and rear lamps that change illumination depending on the direction of travel. The interior lighting set can be fitted to the lighting socket at the rear of the cab.Steam Generator:
To turn on the steam generator use the three way switch in mid or right position. Then some smoke fluid (from either the included capsule or LGB No. 5000) should be placed into the funnel. The funnel should only be filled halfway, otherwise the steam generator cannot develop the heat needed to evaporate the steam fluid. The amount of steam generated depends on the engine speed. Operating the locomotive without steam fluid does not hurt the steam generator.Drive Mechanism:
This model is powered by a seven-pole Buhler motor. 3 axles are powered. One wheel is
equipped with a traction tire.
